Limited options but just what we needed
Our options for car hire in this little town were pretty limited but thankfully there was one company that was really good and had just the sort of thing that we needed. Heading up to the snow we really wanted to get a four wheel drive, just for an extra bit of safety and comfort, plus a regular two wheel drive probably wouldn’t make it up if the roads were icy or had snow on them. This company did have a really god 4WD available so we snapped that up and then went back to the hotel to load up all our gear before heading up the hill.
