Mixed Martial Arts Is Too Brutal
My husband is obsessed with mixed martial arts. He follows the UFC and enjoys all their pay per view events. I think it’s barbaric myself. I mean, those fighters don’t even use real boxing gloves when they fight. There’s blood and gore in the octagon and it seems like anything goes. He knows all the fighters by name and which weight class they’re in. I just tune it out when it comes on television and read a good book with my mp3 player turned on. I just can’t imagine thinking that’s a sport. But then again, I suppose the gladiators thought what they did was sport too.
