Slipping It Into His Pocket
Fortunately my little trick worked and my son did not realize that his dad forgot his knife. I slipped it into his pocket when I was leaving their camp site. My son is all about pocket knives these days and gave a very special one to his dad for his birthday. I know that my husband didn’t mean to forget it and I am sure that he was really upset when he realized that he did. He also knew that I would come through for him. I knew that he had forgotten the knife, but he text messaged me when he realized it because he didn’t know that I was on my way.
