Learning to Feed Herself
My daughter is learning to feed herself. I have tried to help her learn how to do it, but it has come to the point that she really must just practice and I know that it will be messy. She has upgraded high chairs from one that stood in the kitchen away from everything to one that sits right at the table. Although this might mean that we get splashed with peas and mashed potatoes, we will eat dinner together and I will be able to help her when she needs it. I look forward to the day when she is able to completely able to feed herself, but I know I will miss feeding her.
