AC Unit Replacement
I need a new air con as my old one gave up the ghost last week. Summer has been intolerable since then. I hate it. Do you know of the best portable ac units that you think I should get? A unit below $500 would suit me perfectly as I am on a budget. What is most important to me is the energy efficiency of the air conditioner, I do not really mind the noise. I have yet to understand the science behind the high seer/inverter feature, so could someone please enlighten me? I need help figuring out the appropriate btu ratings as well as I am completely helpless with math.
