Adjusting Body pH To Fight Candida

Most peoples bodies are overly acidic instead of the normal slightly alkaline pH. An acidic body pH creates a favorable breeding ground for candida and other diseases.

Most of our diets are high in meats, sugars and carbohydrates which, over time, bring our bodies pH levels down below the ideal pH of 7.5 to 8.0. Bringing the level back up can take time but is quite important as a first step in fighting back.

Changing the diet to include more fresh vegetables, whole grains, fish and less red meats is one step as is making sure your water is pure and has the chlorine removed. Chlorinated water will kill the good flora in your gut which is there to help finish the digestion of your foods as well as to keep Candida and other harmful bacteria suppressed.
