Krystexxa a Drug that Breaks Down Uric Acid
Either makes the kidney excrete more of the uric acid that build up in the blood and causes the gout or it blocks the chemical reaction that creates the uric acid are the two things that drugs for gout can do. Although the drugs usually work well in most people with gout but it sometimes it doesn’t work too as some of the patients are resistant to them. A recent drug for gout that is undergoing clinical trial is known as Krystexxa, it is derived from an animal hormone that breaks down uric acid to make it easier to excrete.
