Pedestrian hit by drunk driver in the middle of the night
In this report of yet another recent pedestrian injured in accident, the male pedestrian, 44 years of age, was alone and was crossing a road when he was struck by a drunk driver. The motor vehicle accident happened at approximately 2:30 am on a Sunday. Sundays are one of the days of the week in which the most drunk driving accidents happen. Due to the force of the impact, the pedestrian suffered severe head injuries. The drunk driver was only 18 years old. He was arrested and charges of driving under the influence and driving while intoxicated have been filed against him.
