Don’t Skip Getting a Patent Attorney
My friend likes to tinker with various gadgets, mostly just for his own amusement. But one day he came up with something he thought might be worth patenting. He thought he should just read a book and patent it himself. So he went to the library and got one of those do-it-yourself patent books. He spent a lot of time reading it, as the patenting process is somewhat intricate. Plus, the legal jargon was not always easy to decipher. Finally, after many hours and headaches involved in trying to work through the patent process himself, my friend came to his senses. He hired a patent attorney and hasn’t regretted the decision.
