Just How Important is Car Insurance Liability Coverage?
When I was in a bad car accident last year, I spent a month in the hospital recovering from injuries sustained from being involved in a head-on collision. The driver of the other car had fallen asleep and just drove right into my lane causing a huge crash. When I woke up, I was in the hospital. My first thoughts were, I hope the other driver had good Car Insurance Liability coverage. When my doctor told me that I was lucky to be alive and that I would be spending a great deal of time in physical therapy, I was worried about how we were going to be able to afford all of the medical treatments. My husband showed up and told me not to worry that the other guy’s insurance company had already called and the driver had a lot of liability coverage and would be taking care of our bills while I healed.
