Car Insurance For Teens — How Young Drivers Can Attract More Affordable Rates

Under-25 drivers are given very expensive car insurance for teens. If you belong to this age group you can attract cheaper rates if you maintain good grades at school. It’s called the good student discount.

The good student discount is for students who get A’s or not less than B’s. For young drivers who make themselves eligible, you can expect discounts of about 5%. This discount is given because insurance providers claim there is a correlation between good grades and a young driver’s behavior behind wheels. Students with good grades are generally seen as more responsible and less prone to reckless driving.
